Ø Industrial tour to Mumbai on 14th December 2011 by III/IV CE students Industrial tour to Mumbai began on 14th December 2011. It was an exciting start. We enjoyed our train journey from Vijayawada to Pune with the SPARC family. We reached Pune on 15th December. We boarded a bus and reached Lonavala. Soon after breakfast, we left for sightseeing to Sausage hills, Ekaveera temple, Karl caves.
Each and every place seemed to be exciting and educative. Whilst Lonawala and kandala are the places embossing the scenic beauty and enchanting nature, the Karl caves are nested between the sausage hills. The presding deity Ekaveera and Lucky dome are the main attractions of the sausage hills. The celebrity wax museum has many celebrities who seemed to be real. One enjoys the company of the wax idols which has been induced in it self the lively charms by the sculptor Mr.Sunil kandaloor.
Mumbai proved to be a metro with tallest buildings, eminent strucures, 8 lane sea link and fast growing western culture. Mumbai has in its kitty the credit of 2nd largest Metro and mono rail constructions, 8- lane sea link. The 8-lane sea link unveils the Indian culture, as the shape of the towers on the sea link represent the “Namaskar” (Common Indian greeting). Though Mumbai is a terrorist prone area, having the holy glimpse of the presiding deity Goddess Mahalakshmi we had a safe travel through out Mumbai. The Gateway of India is an example of the Hindu-Muslim relation that the dome has an Ilamic design and the walls with Indian weaves.
Aurangabad itself is an historic city having in its clutch the Mini Taj Mahal, beautifully sculpted Ellora caves. Mini taj mahal also known as Bibi ka Maqbar is identical to the 7th wonder of the world The TajMahal; while the Ellora caves are mention not beautiful sculptures representing the way art used to be in the ancient times.
The glimpse of the presiding deities of Shani shinganapur and Shiridi made the tour compete with the glorious blessings of almighty we returned safely back to home with the cherished memories in mind and heart.
